Our Team

Robert Siegmund 

Owner - PT, DPT, CSCS

Robert Siegmund was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City.  He moved to Omaha in 1997 to attend Creighton University.  He graduated in 2003 with his doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Rob has now practiced for 16 years in outpatient physical therapy specializing in shoulder injuries, sports performance, TMD/jaw pain and vestibular rehabilitation.  He completed a year long fellowship under Bob Donatelli and also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Rob has also completed post graduate work in Maitland manual therapy and Graston.  Rob enjoys college basketball (Go Bluejays) and pro football (Go Giants) as well as gardening and reading. Additionally, Rob coaches both youth basketball and baseball.  Rob enjoys helping all athletes and non athletes achieve their maximum potential.

Susan Siegmund 

Owner - PT, DPT

Susan Siegmund was born and raised in Omaha, NE.  Susan Graduated from Creighton University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003.  Susan has extensive post graduate training in Maitland manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, foot and ankle, and Graston instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizing.  Treatment specialties include spine pain, TMD/headaches, post partum rehabilitation, SI dysfunction and balance training.  Susan enjoys spending time with her two children, Ethan and Paige, and cheering on Creighton athletics including soccer, baseball, volleyball and basketball.  She is passionate about helping others achieve their wellness and health goals.  Susan's hobbies include reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Robert Chab

PT, DPT, MBA, OES

Rob is originally from the small town of Falls City, NE. He went on to attend Peru State College where he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. While at Peru, Rob was granted Peru State’s Student of the Year Award through the Nebraska Association of Health and Physical Education. It was also at Peru where Rob began strength and conditioning coaching for middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes. He then moved to Omaha where he attended Clarkson College to receive a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. After Clarkson, he then moved on to graduate school at Wayne State College to achieve a Master’s in Business Administration. Following Wayne State College, he then started working on a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Findlay University in Ohio. Rob has also continued his passion for learning outside of school, receiving an Orthopedic Exercise Specialist certification. Rob is also our Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Elkhorn Sports Performance. When Rob is not working, he enjoys going to the gym with his wife, working on their house, being outdoors, and spending time with family and his two dogs, Larry and Maggie.

Aaron Vinkenberg

PT, DPT

Aaron was born and raised in Aurora, NE. He received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2023 with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Aaron is passionate about working with others in order to help his patients attain their highest quality of life. He treats with an evidence-based and patient-centered approach to help each individual optimize movement and feel empowered to manage pain on their own. Aaron is a lifelong learner and is actively pursuing further certifications in dry needling and education related to orthopedic PT setting. As a sports enthusiast and avid golfer, you’ll find Aaron watching NFL RedZone on Sunday afternoons and on the links whenever he has the chance. Aaron and his wife enjoy traveling and trying new food and drinks, so he is always open to restaurant suggestions in the Omaha area.

Heather Dempsey

PT, DPT, Cert. DN, CMTPT

Heather was born and raised near Milwaukee, WI. She went to Bethel College in Indiana and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. Heather moved to North Carolina for her first PT job, hoping to get away from cold winters and be able to spend time at the beach. She met her husband, Jeff, in North Carolina and in 2015, they moved to Bennington, NE for Jeff's work and to be closer to family. Over the past 12 years, Heather worked in multiple settings, including vestibular rehab, orthopedics, and neurological. She is fully certified through Myopain for Trigger Point Dry Needling and is working towards certification for Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art. She loves her work, helping patients improve their mobility and get them back to doing the things they love. When she is not working, she enjoys being outside, hiking, spending time with family and friends, being involved in church activities, and spoiling her dog, Zoey.

Emily Herout

PTA

Emily graduated with her Physical Therapist Assistant degree with Distinction from Nebraska Methodist College. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and in the Nebraska Chapter. She is certified in Rocktape and Rockpods cupping. She has completed additional training in vestibular rehab, blood flow restriction, and pelvic floor therapy. She enjoys helping people restore function, alleviate disability, and eliminate pain. In her free time, Emily loves to be active by going hiking with her dog, running, and fishing. She enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Brennen Smith

PTA

Brennen Smith was raised in Southwest Iowa and graduated from Atlantic High School. He went to Iowa Western with a major in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2020. Brennen graduated from Clarkson College in 2022 with his Physical Therapist Assistant degree. He is currently enrolled in Clarkson's Healthcare Business Bachelor's program as well. Throughout Brennen's career, his primary setting has been in outpatient orthopedics and has been active with the American Physical Therapy Association by previously being elected as a candidate in the APTA's Student Board of Directors where he advocated for Student Physical Therapist's throughout the midwest. Brennen is extremely passionate about challenging others to reach their pinnacle capabilities and desired outcomes. During his free time, Brennen enjoys spending time in Lincoln during football season, bass fishing, and wrestling with his dog Luca.
